Join us for our October shows ~~ October 10th’s Kids Show and our October 17th’s Blues ShowThe October 10th Kid’s’ Festival is a full day of activities for the little ones, starting at 11am with Charity and the JAMBand. The afternoon continues with the Alphabet Rockers and Magic Dan’s fabulous magic show, followed by Charity and the JAMband returning at 2pm to close the stage. While the music plays there are short hikes with Tree Frog Treks, Bubble adventures with The Excelsior Science Workshop and the Exploratorium’s Skateboard Science Trailer and 2 fun Rope Squirters. This promises to be a day of non-stop fun for kids and adults alike!!

The October 17th Blues Show – the Saturday in the Park McLaren season finale concert presenting: a Tribute to B. B. King will get you up and dancing with the Jan Fanucchi Band, Tia Carroll and saxophonist and band leader Bobbie “Spider” Webb’s.

Also celebrate the 44th anniversary
of the Amphitheater with the annual Amphitheater Birthday Party where the San Francisco Blues Festival took place 40 years ago. This is the 10 years celebration honoring the naming of the Amphitheater after Jerry Garcia, front man for the Grateful Dead Band and the 3rd year of Saturday in the Park McLaren presenting 17 free concerts featuring local performers.

 

From free Saturday afternoon music concerts to a mountain bike festival to Shakespeare in the Park to photography walks, nature hikes, and work parties, it’s happening in McLaren! Click on the images or links below for more information on each event.
